Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Reviewla platform at reviewla.my ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Reviewla is a WhatsApp-first Google Review collection platform designed for Malaysian businesses. The Service enables business owners to send review requests to their customers via WhatsApp, collect Google Reviews, and manage their online reputation through an analytics dashboard.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.

4. Plans and Billing

Reviewla offers three subscription tiers:

  • Free — 10 review requests per month, 1 business
  • Starter (RM39/month) — 100 review requests per month, up to 3 businesses
  • Pro (RM79/month) — 500 review requests per month, unlimited businesses

All paid subscriptions are billed monthly in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) through Billplz, a licensed Malaysian payment gateway. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited messages to individuals who have not been your customers
  • Generate fake, fraudulent, or misleading Google Reviews
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate any person
  • Violate Google's review policies or WhatsApp's terms of service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise interfere with the Service

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Customer Data

You are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained appropriate consent from your customers before using the Service to contact them via WhatsApp. You own all data related to your business and customers that you input into the Service.

We act as a data processor on your behalf and process customer data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan's features until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reviewla shall not be liable for:

  • The content of Google Reviews left by your customers
  • WhatsApp message delivery failures caused by Meta or network issues
  • Service interruptions due to third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Meta, Billplz)
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The Reviewla name, logo, brand assets, and software are the intellectual property of Reviewla. You may not use our brand assets without prior written permission.

You retain all rights to your business data, customer data, and content that you input into the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except where immediate action is required.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
